Arthur's Favourite Charity
Arthur's is thrilled to support local charity the Otakar Kraus Music Trust; founded by Margaret Lobo in 1991 to provide music and voice therapy for children and young people with physical and mental disabilities.
Last year we donated 70 delicious homemade apple strudels for the Otakar Kraus Music Trust's 'Lehar, Stauss and Strudel' concert at Hampton Court House. And in the last few years we've held several 'Nights at the Opera' evenings to raise funds for the charity.
"As a major provider of music therapy in West London, the Otakar Kraus Music Trust has enjoyed a very special relations with Arthur’s Restaurant.
We are a registered charity which helps children and young people with physical, psychological, learning and emotional disabilities find a better quality of life through the power of music.
Tony and Adrienne Rowe and everyone connected with Arthur’s Restaurant have always been very special supporters.
They have helped us raise money through holding operatic evenings at the restaurant in association with our fundraising arm, Opera Unlimited. A special mention has to be given to the wonderful Italian dinner and Going for a Song auction put together in Arthur’s by Tony and Adrienne. They are never backward in coming forward in promoting us or our events.
Finally everyone who attended our fundraising concert in the Summer of 2006, thoroughly enjoyed the delicious apple strudel prepared by Chef Tony Rowe which provided an atmosphere of Old Vienna as the singers sung the music of Lehar and Strauss.
It is a privilege to know people like Tony and Adrienne Rowe and on behalf of all the special children of the Otakar Kraus Music Trust, we would like to sincerely thank Arthur’s for its continuing support."
